[Tweener] tweening to multiple objects

Am I going crazy?  I thought you used to be able to tween to multiple 
objects as follows:

Tweener.addTween (mc1,mc2,{_alpha:50,time:.5});

But this doesn't work anymore.  What do you need to do to tween to 
multiple objects with one statement?
